وجهت القناة الألمانية «ZDF» صفعة قوية للجمهور العربي المُتلهف لمتابعة مباريات كأس العالم 2014 في منطقة الشرق الأوسط من دون تشفير وبالمجان عبر «النايل سات» إذ قامت بتكذيب الأخبار المنتشرة منذ صباح اليوم، الاثنين، 21 أبريل، عن هزيمة شبكة قنوات «بي إن سبورت» القطرية في منطقة الشرق الأوسط وإذاعتها لمباراتي نصف نهائي دوري أبطال أوروبا ونهائيات مونديال البرازيل دون تشفير.
وزعمت أخبار فوز القناة الألمانية بعدة قضايا رفعت ضدها من جانب قنوات BeIn sport القطرية في الآونة الأخيرة، الأولى كانت بخصوص حقوق بث مباريات نصف نهائي دوري أبطال أوروبا ونهائي كأس الدوري الأوروبي، أما الثانية فكانت متعلقة ببث القناة لنهائيات كأس العالم عبر النايل سات والهوتبيرد من دون تشفير.
وسُئلت القناة عبر حسابها الرسمي على موقع تويتر للتواصل الاجتماعي حول حقيقة تلك الأخبار إلا أنها ردت بالنفي أكثر من 20 مرة على مستخدمي تويتر وبشكل واضح وسريع، وأكدت القناة أنها ستذيع المونديال بشكل مجاني في ألمانيا فقط دون التحدث عن أي شيء يخص القمر الأوروبي.
واخذت القضية منحنى غير رياضي بين عدد كبير من الصحف والمواقع المصرية، السعودية والإمارتية الكبرى، ويأتي على رأسهم جريدة اليوم السابع وموقع قناة العربية اللذان أكدا في أكثر من تقرير لهما فوز القناة الألمانية بحق إذاعة مونديال البرازيل في الشرق الأوسط دون تشفير.
وذهبوا لأبعد من ذلك بنقلهم لتصريحات مجهولة المصدر على لسان رئيس القناة «توماس بيلوت» قال فيها: «لا أدري رغبة قطر في احتكار بطولة لم تتأهل لها في يوم من الأيام».
وتوقعت تلك المواقع وصول خسائر قنوات بي إن سبورت القطرية لنحو 75 مليون دولار بعد نجاح القناة الألمانية في أخذ حق إذاعة المسابقة بمنطقة الشرق الأوسط.
وكان الثنائي الإماراتي «علي سعيد الكعبي وفارس عوض» قد أعلنا قبل فترة وجيزة استقالتهما من قنوات بي إن سبورت عبر موقع تويتر لأسباب قيل أنها سياسية.
